2. Verify that you have a high flow toilet.
If your toilet has been replaced under previous programs or if your home was built after 1992 you will not qualify.
Toilets that qualify must have been installed prior to 1992 and flush 3.5 gallons per flush or more.
Most toilets have date stamp on the back of the tank or the lid. Look carefully.
3. Have a free pre-inspection performed.
Contact the City of Santa Rosa’s Water Conservation Hotline (543-3985) and schedule a pre-inspection.
This is just a good idea. During this inspection you can learn several ways to save more water.
HET installation must be complete within 120 days of the pre-inspection visit.
4. Call Santa Rosa Plumbing to schedule an appointment.
We will provide and install a qualifying HET toilet from the enclosed list.
Santa Rosa Plumbing will be featuring the Gerber product line.
We will, however, offer any other HET on the qualified.
5. Submit your rebate application.
With the rebate application you must submit original receipts for your new toilet and hardware,
along with your recycling receipt which you get from the Sonoma County Central Disposal Site
(707-795-3660), located at 500 Mecham Road, Petaluma
this is a free service; open daily 7am – 3:30pm.
YOU MUST recycle your toilet through the Central Disposal Site!!!.
